Christmas never meant much to me, we never celebrated it when I was a kid. When i was a driver I used to volunteer to work over the christmas holidays so the guys with kids could stay home. I loved running the road christmas, The no traffic, no trash talking truckers on the CB, and the desert sky on a christmas morning was tender and indifferent.

But I am sure that Christmas has nothing to do with Christs birth. I believe he was born in the spring with the lambs for the slaughter.

Went to the store tonight to get a bottle of diet coke, a little girl with her mother and a man maybe her father but maybe notr. The girl was bouncing off the walls with excitement, the father or boy friend was trying to calm her down. The mother said "she won't calm down till after christmas.

Made me sad, not sure why, I think it was the way we enculturate the children into this mad consumer culture.

I like the picture because you drew it Doreen, nothing to do with christmas. Just see the little girl in you in that picture. I am a sentimental old fool. I think you have my address.

I had your snail mail address at one time, Jack, but can't put my finger on it right now. Please send it to me and I'll send you one! Thanks for wanting one. ;)

That's cool that you used to do volunteer work at Christmas! Very cool....

a lively green a magical hue
annd those sweet strokes and swirls
annd the pastel pallette
magnificent hues
a little miracle of a composition
i gotta print one up an put it up
for th holy daze
absolutely delightful
and so economic
a design masterpiece
a zeN mystic spirit
channeling christmass elviz
[color=darkcyan]i'm on a survival mission
