Story Challenge - use shopping list words

In a Creative Writing thread, I was making a "shopping list" and Constantine & SadLuckDame were both adding to it. I've put the whole list together with all our contributions for the purpose of a Story Challenge.

The challenge is to write a short story using as many of these words as you can.
