the shapes of crescents
and flower patterns, full moon
rising behind, a lovely
image for my mind
and i see the moon
fall from petals
like i have fallen
from grace, though
i still hasten to paint
ideas on grey areas,
following the tint
of a sunrise hint,
fully aware that
everything there is
is geometric, rainbows
attempting to peak
through

a moonlit sky
and points of charm
to steal my day.
