- OCTOBER RUSE -

Post by HaroHalola » October 6th, 2009, 1:23 am

You're going to do
what!? You're sorry!? You're sorry.
It's been more than 8
years, here, my daughter is twelve,
allowed the in-dignity,

we all do don't we,
blindly, the crush-cum-pain, but
in the name of an
authority and trust?
You
must seek...I did, sought hidden

enemies lumped-in
amongst Nature, palpable
you said,
yet...how few
or many are dead? Betty
came-an'-went, what of Jackie

more, what of she for
herself? CodePink is not what
you think, Medea
is the slayer whom lets and
quells the flow, you whom know but

mammo, no!, thermo
is gram positive, chemo
kills,
the radio lies
to your bones, the October
rude & ruse, we are the Cure

You want to do what!?
To maim in the name of slash
'n burn, in the guyse
of ignorance. You're sorry!?
I am sorry too have to

put this pink ribbon
'round your blue balls in the name
of research & your
mammigrabs,
October ride
with the breastless horsewomen

auntie maims not to
show business, cowed ingenue,
prophylacticized
perhaps, mammodamage for
the good of pharm futures, we

drink at the horsemone
synthqafer, neigh?!! Open-up
the blinders on the
feed, You're sorry!? my daughter
is twelve! I am the Cure, she

is,
we all are in
penis paradise, Sorry!?
Tamox'fun no more!

HH, strong, strong and the right message. I've a friend to share it to. Much thank yous for showing.

little mischievous darling!

I like your work a lot
even the parts I don't get
but I never ask
I don't want to know what every thing means

I like to sit and wonder.
That is probably stupid
but it is the truth

October is national Popcorn month

SLD - TY; of course I have varying emotions re: this piece - the compulsion to compose It, remaining composed while she birthed, the necessity for It, the absolute result i.e., that all-too-rare moment when the channel is clear & precise... Here's to holding the vision N.O.W., MS., Rolling Stone, The Village Voice, Psychology Today, and various "Feminist/Women's publications get on board... TY for the intent to relay my (our) message, you are most welcome - H'H./H.e.m.

st - TY, I like Reading that you like my Work alot; "wondering" is good, so is popcorn, this piece is not the latter, although popcorn is good, too (sans trans-fatty toppings); if the former ever presents to the extent of "wondering+knowing I will be available...here, of course my hope is the message has filtered through; if more of us only were to sit (again) in wonderment? - H'H./H.e.m.

Haro...well done, and well said... I have experience with both oncologists and OB's. Felt like I was in the wilderness, without a match or a tent sometimes. Long ago and far away but the memories linger...

thank you.
Freedom's just another word...

No it is not popcorn

I was just thinking about National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

And the October Ruse.

I think I got this one pretty well. Did not mean to trivialize your poem with my comment. Just my cynicism showing.

sooZen - Noblesse Oblige, TY; I am bitter-sweetly pleased to encounter you in this context, as I have said, would that I was not compelled to this, however the assault of the "Pink October" moved the Muse. Seems the pejorative "red tent" is the only dignity women have in "penis paradise," I hope I am able to partially comprehend the distaff plight, I have attempted as such w/this Poetic tirade, though from a male perspective accessing the female energy which courses. Certainly, like bad acid, the acridity of the memories must assuredly linger, this piece is directed at anyone whom will take-up the mantle, prosituate, & reclaim her dignity, sovereignty, & health control through sound information, albeit in Poetic diatribe. TY, I am humbled by your gracious offering, you are most welcome, we forge the "wilderness" in tandem, not without bearings - H'H./H.e.m.

Indeed it is a wilderness,
I too have been there and
the memories are like bad acid.
Bravo to your foraging H.
Ovations too.

st - Again, TY for the comment, if I have been to your perception acute in my eagerness to have the message disseminate, in this regard It was without intention; so no offense taken, I assure you. Showing cynicism in the face of facade, especially where health & wellbeing are paramount, is good. H'H./H.e.m.

h_p - Welcome (dubious distinction) to the forum; somehow I wished for the paradox none & all would resonate here. TY for the "intimate" entry into the scary, beast forest of man-ipulation, would that I might not have to be humbled in this dark, dank light by your graciousness for my effort - H'H./H.e.m.
