Salvation/Damnation, One Morning

Thanks all...

It was just a tired, somewhat discouraged reflection, pieced together from a battered old motel on the old Route 66 in eastern Arizona.... the 'Zion' references were a flashback to Utah.... that's all....

Thanks, Z, L-Rod, & judih....

Just hit a low note or two, I guess.... chilling gray day and night in eastern Arizona, and some bad news from back home.... road weariness at that point, for sure.... But things are looking much better this morning....

Exit 286

The broken-line fever has kicked in. But I'm running low again, just when I was making such good time.... just when the pallette of mountains had finally melted into a stream of saffron and sepia. Too bad.... another hundred miles or so and I could have been rid of this interstate for good. But I'm ...

Good stuff, Cat.

Thanks for sharing. Your grandfather's view of God is similar to my own, which explains my pronounced distaste for any rigid belief or doctrine which denies even the possibility of God's existence or claims to fit God into a religious box of "absolute truth".

As I urged right-leaning members of the electorate before the election.... if you cannot entirely reconcile your "conservative" conviction with the incredible loose cannons of the apocalypse currently holding power in DC, then please, for the love of everything that has ever been considered holy, at...

I'm so fed up with the whole fucked-up campaign and electoral process at this point that I'm more inclined than ever to agree with you on this. But I'm not so sure that limited-scope voter testing would help much. Far too many voters are locking into only their own pet issues (e.g..... specific educ...

Hey Mark... Cool that you're coming out this way. I can't speak for the others, but I'm getting ready to hit the road and continue my exploration of the Great Southwest and make preparations to move down there. I'll be gone most of January and perhaps longer. If you make it to Seattle, shoot me an e...
