Re: Radical

Yeah, what an arse!

This poem was going to be my goodbye poem @AT. Then I decided, why bother?

Dunno what's wrong with the moderator or his golden boys, and I'll miss some folks there, though it's good to know that this watering hole brings in some of the usual suspects.

Re: Radical

That wasn't as much as a problem as the moderator.

I will not be moderated for speaking my truth as long as others roughshod over everyone. Free to be assholes. Well, maybe it's not THAT bad. :-)

Re: ladders reaching far above the clouds, in giant's hands

Re: Awareness marks its debut

Haha. True 'nuff.

However, the way we put together our thoughts, creates our reality. Put all the 7 billion almost 400 million of us and we have the experience of our individual life in tandem with all the others.

Though some would say there are no *others*.

Damned fucking poet's pen~

i. WORDS! where do they all come from? the Irish Sea or the devil in me? does the weeping angel that guards this cemetery called earth weep for me? my sisters and brothers? crones dancing their wildness with time? men who lay down their arms, if not before, but in death's final embrace? ii. i don't ...

Amen!

Quite fond of this poem, Jessica. I usually prefer free verse. However this is perfect rhythm and rhyme!

Re: Awareness marks its debut

Hi JT, Nice to meet you.

I've always wondered where thoughts come from. I don't believe in angels or devils, but I'm sure some of them are not my own.

Re: Talking to the Burning Bush (revision 1)

The way I see it, this is Ginsberg. In this modern reality, however Ginsberg might as well talk to the hand. However, America did approve gay marriage, so I don't know what Ginsberg would say. There would be a little paring down of, imo, superfluous verbiage. For example, the last, simply : the worl...

a higher octave

neon city lights and bible belts country roads and mohawks on children green, blue and pink hair, walking on two human feet 16 candles and a lifetime of despair fuzzy navels and champagne women dressed to go nowhere-- it's all in a song I wrote but I'm forgetting the words line by line by line notes...
