6 x 36 Nocturnes, series two, #1-18

On plane from Boston to Phoenix, August 2000 i. Morning. Resurrection. The least thought matters. Morning. Desire. Slim lashes of flame. Possibilities. ii. Night trips into today, unfractured by the light, night unsanctioned in this wild free run, night frail & fabulous, there is something must be d...

It's maybe a strange idea, or just novel, but since I work with the idea that all is music, rhythm and flow, vibrations, and what lay person's knowledge I have of sub atomic physics seems to bear this out, what DJs do and how it fascinates me seemed a natural connection. They mix, they sample, they ...

Hi Doreen,

Just keep chipping away at it, that's what I do with my projects. Sometimes all one can give is an hour here and there, but they DO add up, and the work DOES get done :) Keep your head down and your legs moving

This morning began the posting here of my poem series 6 x 36 Nocturnes, begun in June 2000 and finished in December 2004. My idea for this poem series is partly sourced in the electronica music idea of "mixing," which involves taking bits of distinct pieces of music to form a new piece of music. In ...
