He’s my favorite. I love him. I listen to him for hours on end.
Have you seen his paintings? He’s also a fabulous painter!

Happy 85th birthday to Bob Dylan, who said, "Darkness at the break of noon Shadows even the silver spoon The handmade blade, the child's balloon Eclipses both the sun and moon To understand you know too soon There is no sense in trying Pointed threats, they bluff with scorn Suicide remarks are torn ...

Re: Happy 96th Birthday to Gary Snyder (May 8, 1930)
I wish you had gone, too, but regret isn’t productive. It’s great he’s still alive at 96! He has a large catalog of books to enjoy . What a fabulous poet. I admire his work so much. Such vivid writing using so many tools! He’s amazing.
I’m going to see if there are any of his readings on YouTube,

Re: Gamble
Thank you, winddance! Yeah I think I’m past the age of gambling. It’s taking a chance just to get out of bed in the morning at this point. Haha
Re: Gamble
Thanks for reading Steve, Roy, and Mark. You’re all exactly right. ————————- (I wrote this one below on the same topic in 2004 on the litkicks site) you could go to school and hate your class, the professor could turn out to be an ass, you could run to the girl you've always dreamed of, find out she...

Re: Mystery of the Moving Rocks
I should read some Edward Abbey books. I’ve never read him. I was thinking at first you meant Edward Albee (whose plays I love), but no!! I was totally wrong, of course.

Re: Facial ID
Ohhh wow! I must be a terrible communicator. No, not at all. My iPhone does not at all frustrate me usually. I live on my iPhone. I love it! I wasn’t looking for answers to solve any problems at all. I was only mentioning Facial Recognition Technology because that was the theme of my poem. It inspir...

😂 That’s so funny, Roy! But not! 😣 I’m sorry you have such difficulties with it. I live on my iPhone. I have for several years… maybe 10! I do everything on it except work. I’m a graphic designer so I need my MacBook or iMac to work…. But being mostly retired with only one steady client now and an o...

Re: Omniscient
You are one fine writer! I’ve always loved your poetry! I don’t know how I missed this when you posted it. I’m glad I found it tonight.
Facial ID
My phone didn’t recognize my face for a minute. I couldn’t get in it. Probably ‘cause of frowns or some other blubber, tears or a slight veer from my normal demeanor or somewhere in between perfectly normal and not. I have no clue why to be truthful. All I got is this not-so-youthful expressions of ...
Gamble
The quality of a moment is measured by ideal inches, minute hands second to second ticks of fate and if you wait too long for miracles, you will create a flight of precious time, the night, your only companion, the dark, your friend, and in the end there will not be questions of why but interjection...

Re: Birthday Greetings!
Happy Birthday, Raymond.
What a fun poem with rhyming couplets! Interesting that it was originally written in Polish. I wonder if the Polish version also rhymes in couplets. Hmmm.
Anyway, I enjoyed it! I hope you enjoy your birthday!
