Re: Bizarre— conversation with an AI bot

You are right! Of course. It’s all about what we’re used to hearing, maybe. Some grammatical errors I see people typing on the internet are actually cultural differences in speech, for instance. I’d post an example or two, but somehow I’m having difficulty with finding words and perhaps I’m experien...

Re: Bizarre— conversation with an AI bot

It just sounds awkward to me and no matter how much I respect people’s personal sexual identity preferences, I find they/them referring to individual people grammatically difficult to hear as well as use. I’m trying! Yeah it’s quite possible that’s all thinking is. If/then statements. Talking to AI ...

Re: Bizarre— conversation with an AI bot

That’s awesome! It really liked your writing and humor. I think it’s pretty cool bc these bots can truly think and make decisions. Thanks for sharing that, Roy! That’s really kind of you to be taking care of your ex’s dog while she’s undergoing chemo! Sort of interesting that her husband ran your di...

Bizarre— conversation with an AI bot

After a conversation tonight with a Facebook AI bot (which I didn’t plan, it just somehow happened when I was attempting to use the search engine): I asked the Facebook AI bot why he/she/it said he/she/it found conversing with me “interesting and valuable.” (Because that’s what he/she/it told me) He...

Re: Judih Haggai

Your poem is wonderful! Thank you for posting it! After 20 years (since we opened in 2004), Judih posted 524 originating posts, I just did a search. Many in the haiku forum, many in the GO forum, of course. I’m not sure how many in the poetry forum. Some were announcements so I wouldn’t move those. ...

Re: Wednesday Morning

Ohh it’s tomorrow! I’ve been thinking of you, knowing this procedure was coming up. You are so lucky your son is there for you and luckier still that they found the blockage and can clear it!

I’ll be here thinking positive thoughts and praying to the Universe for your thorough recovery!

❤️❤️❤️

Re: I met Bob Dylan

What an awesome dream, Steve!!! You escaped from traffic jam hell by a savvy right turn and ended up in vacation heaven, not up in the sky, but at the bottom of the beautiful lake! And admission was so inexpensive! I love this dream! Thanks for sharing it.

Re: I met Bob Dylan

winddance — I go through phases of vivid dreaming and not dreaming at all (or not remembering them). I’m a big Dylan fan but I’ve never dreamed of him or any other star before. It was sort of odd! I will definitely give him your regards should I ever encounter him again in a dream 😉 Sasha —I used to...

Re: I Think We're All Pretty Good People

That would be great, but how could we not acknowledge the war???? The images of bombs and murdered children are everywhere!!!!!! Who could do this to people??? This is supposed to be a payback for October 7th? What a horrible thing that happened on that date but for fuck sake, you don’t just bomb an...

I met Bob Dylan

I met Bob Dylan in a dream last night. He was 50ish. I was young, 30s perhaps. It was the greatest dream I’ve had in ever so long, his songs filling my heart, and the fact that nobody could tear us apart, all the smiles, the laughter and miles of road we traveled together totally blew me away! Today...
