I've had an excellent year.

I turned thirty, business is good, I met a wonderful woman and some new friends.

I thank the powers for my good fortune. :)

This way a more constant stream of revenue would be f...

The man was a bona fide literary genius - a true one-of-a-kind.
No-one wrote quite like him about the paranoid realities of our current society mirrored in the future.

He wrote quite a lot as well, and it'll propably be another decade or two before I have all his firsts.

The internet is great for new stuff, but as yet it hasn't come even close to challenging the outright investments found lurking in second hand book, record and op-shops. It's also useless for glass objects d' art or mineral specimens; for things like that, you've got to know your shit. More importan...

I got a bunch of records, including a silly rare '91 PCP Records White Label Promo of Mescalinum United - We Have Arrived. I can't believe I've been looking for that bloody thing for almost 14 years... aahhh, obsessions... still, nothing like an early German Industrial Techno record to play around t...

The US has embassies everywhere, especially in the ex-eastern block. They also have military installations, airodromes, artillery caches, etc, etc. Economically, too, the US is everywhere in Hungary and eastern Europe. The good news is that Hungary has joined the EU, but as yet hasn't adopted the Eu...

my acerbic comments were not directed at you. more, at the publishers of that series. i cannot understnad how people could respond so well to a book series (both the for dummies and the idiot's guides) that simulataneously insults its reader and expect the consumer to buy it. and yet it works!! how...

Hey, am I not allowed to be facetious back? But seriously, JZ Knight bothers me. Watch her talk, you'll know why. And Hubbard is just weird. I read a bunch of articles that William S Burroughs wrote about Scientology. They do not paint a pretty picture. What I found fascinating about Burrough's cri...

That's the trick they're playing on us: they make us believe that we do not count, but if we believe, then we do.

Never let them tell you otherwise; you exists and you count.

Remember: if you think, then you are; and you are what you think...

Hmmmmmm... world wide fame, a disgracefully large bank account, millions of devoted groupies ready for a fivesum in the jakuzi, drug-fuelled sessions throwing TVs out of hideously expensive hotel's windows and a whole slew of records posing a masterclass for musicology lectures. Nah... I'll take the...

Re: Peak Beer

When I took a peek into our refrigerator this afternoon I noticed to my chagrin that I had reached a situation of Peak Beer. I was coming into a part of the day when there is usually an observable increase in consumption and I was faced with dwindling supplies. It's not a pleasant situation. I can ...
