you already mentioned that you started with Miles......but to me, THE greatest 'classic' jazz album is Kind of Blue. i can put that album on ANYTIME, on repeat, and just get lost...forever. as far as albums from start to finish, that one can't be beat.

yes, in his own original way. i love his work. he has had an incredibly diverse career. i have a lot of respect for him.

man, i think the Beatles copied themselves more than any other band did, but why not? i would too if i were able to write songs so 'simply amazing'. there aren't too many groups/individuals since them that could apply the 'less is more' theory better.

someone mentioned 'Mum'....i love them. Sigur Ros as well. for those of you do not know them, you should. from Iceland. very beautiful, very original.
