Re: Chat Spot

Rest In Peace!

I saw this movie in my teens, but especially this scene, didn't hit me until my 20's. Reckon i'll watch this and dead poets society this weekend.

Re: in the beginning

wow! this is rich...i really enjoyed this, so many great lines but my favorite was

"in the beginning, no beginning,
a time riddle middle of eternitude"

i dig the word play but also the concept of "no beginning."

thank you for sharing this, mnaz.

keep writing hard!

Re: back to dust

i'm definitely okay with going back to dust. although the seldom buddhist and reluctant catholic in me thinks there might be more. we'll see!

love this line:

"how do we measure our true volume"

seems to be an eternal search.

keep writing hard! 8)

Re: they say

@ saw: yes, two very different things. i find myself really craving to be alone, especially on the weekends. i give a lot of myself to this world, and sometimes just need to be by myself for sometime. @ judih: i love that line "i tend to rush out to my selves when given a chance"! discipline, indeed...

that one is a goodie, thanks judih!

i am not as familiar with her as perhaps i should be

amiri baraka's radicalness sure did influence her

or did her radicalness influence him?

maybe both?

don't know but either way she's a giant and 80 is a good number

peace! 8)
