Re: Bob Marley and Puma

Is it chalk or is it pastels? I like pastels, but they are not as forgiving as acrylics. If you mess up with acrylics, at least you can paint over the mistake, or just complete gesso the entire painting. However, I do like the 'softness' of pastels. These are very nice.

Re: concern

Kind of odd how feeling concerned can also make you tired. What media did you use?

Re: Flowers in a Vase

Thank you. :) I did this one following a YouTube Tutorial either with Cinnamon Cooney (The Art Sherpa), Angela Anderson, or Painting with Jane. . .I can't remember which one now. It was so much fun. . .finger painting. Love the feel of the paint. However, I do use a lot of paint when finger painting...

Incongruent

INCONGRENT Do you see the light shining? Just over there A place between here Where we stand, and there Where we stood Where we cannot be But wish we could. The mirror reflects many things A smile A sly come hither look Questioning stares inside And out. Fingers locked in hair Frustrations outlet T...

and it is your ego that holds
the key that will pop open
the door that was never truly locked
but only appeared that way
in the darkness of your mind
Once you open up and let go, love and freedom is yours for the taking. Or something like that.

An old flame that never was. Teenage memories are so bitter sweet. Very much enjoyed this one.

Re: Ok, the dirt

I see ants and a picnic blanket. I feel the beat of a cold heart. I see lost and tattered love poems that once brought much happiness but then broke the heart of the one they were to. The last two lines. . .hummmmm. . .accusations unwarranted but believed just the same. But that is just my take. Int...

Re: Song Lyrics "If You Go to Houston"

Just another thought. My sweetie and I were thinking of going to Houston, I'm kind of glad I convinced him to stay in Kentucky, at least for another year. :)

Re: Song Lyrics "If You Go to Houston"

I kind of thought the fourth and sixth were the chorus. And I'm lost when you say bridge. Music was never my strong suit. I just like singing karaoke, I don't pay much attention to the mechanics. Nice start. Hope to see the finished result soon. Love and Hugs.
