Re: Healing Jam

How does the world fare
does it need to be healed.
Seems as though it must
hate resides in most fields.

That hate in these fields
wider spread than you'd think.
Threatens us all
damn, our attitudes stink.

Our ways need some changin'
that's real plain to see.
But knowin' it's needed
ain't enough ...

Brothers of Respect

Though we may disagree, it matters not
brothers of respect for others is what we are,
or at least should be
there are times we are tried
the line becomes thin
we question whether each other is deserving
our show of respect vanishes
these are the times that our demons win
these are the times our ...

You Must Color Within Their Lines

Intellectuals
These educated fools
Put creativeness
Outside their rules

They've no respect
For heart and soul
Beyond their taste
You pay the toll

They'll criticize
With condesention
Until you write
With apprehension

Then they serve
The ridicule
To make you think
That you're the fool

One thing is ...

Re: The Narcissist

so in truth, you win. the narcissist has become insecure and threatened and has his friends hide him from any further harm being dealt to his ego.

ever hear the saying that the best revenge is to sit and do absolutely nothing? the wait on the first party can become more bothersome than the direct ...

Re: The Narcissist

ah, but here is the beauty, though they don't go away, without the acknowledgement they seek, they grow frustrated. that above all is the narcissists worst nightmare, no attention. always play the game by your own rules, never by his.

Re: The Defect Detector

Yes , I think perhaps the boy was victim of the same sort of game and knows nothing else. The poem tells of a truly sad situation as the actions of this unfortunate fellow saturate a whole group and spoil the air for all who come in contact . Having gained distance, I can see how the mind becomes ...

The Defect Detector

Long has he lived
Finding fault as his aim
You see he was quite lonely
At the start just a game
A new target he'd choose
For every new session
But as his game progressed
It became his obsession
Well now he can't stop
He's grown a negative mind
And everywhere that he looks
The more mistakes does he ...
