mostly I protect my sanity by not diving in too deep into the morass, but I do like to occassionally blow off some steam...it feels like a measure of good health...like taking vitamins and getting some exercise...

love to paint the world
in rosy red, but
it simply will not cover
the blackened truth

ordinary folks
cannot be persuaded
to fall in love with this cheap art
citizens can't help but notice

wonderful poetry, tied to a recollection
This piece has real power
to bust open the dam and let the words flow downstream

the jam needs to percolate
at times, allowed to seep
underground
only to poke through the soil
at the right time
to perambulate, and look into
its own surroundings,
the jam has been oozing this way
since the wireman
spun the thread, and I'm sure
wherever he is watching from
he is pleased,
the jam ...

Cool, trust the process....these are flowing streams and you are the conduit, but not without your own ability to shape and redirect

thanx Roy.....it was kinda of one of those artistic surprises how this came together....that's why I paint...for those moments sent to me from elsewhere

family rituals give meaning to lives and remind us there is more to living than just going through the routines that make up so many days of our time here on planet earth.....some routines are just fine.....I'm talking about The Grind
