Re: Immortality

I don't buy the idea that everything will become mundane and boring after too much exposure. Do not doubt the ability to forget and the plain incompetence of the human brain. Immortality can suit the majority of us just fine. ;)

Re: The world's first web page:

I like the How can I help? section, which shows how innocent the Internet was back in the day. :)

Re: PABLO

What makes me curious is why "Pablo" for this piece? Ever I feel foolish when I don't understand a cultural or historical bit of information. :?

Agreeable to previous comments. Though fear the alcohol coursing through my veins! They make me love everything. Better than the constant paranoia and fear I suppose. ;)

Every failure reveals a little more of what you are and will become. So rejoice, and not tear yourself down. This is only the beginning.

Re: violence - krishnamurti

on "knowing violence because you know nonviolence," I feel it's more a matter of Law vs. Chaos than anything. We know peace because it is simple, explained, and sound (Law). Violence because it is pure emotion, illogical, and unpredictable (Chaos). We can throw out the moral implications altogether,...

Re: I worry about America now that we don't have a war to fi

I'm of the mind wars are made to have us forget our troubles at home...for a time. Expect another war soon enough, because people are likely to consider how wretched things are getting and want them to change. Nothing makes another as guilty when they have the audacity to think THEY deserve somethin...

I'm suddenly reminded of the huge patch of desert that is Area 51, which can be seen via Google Maps satellite photos. Or at least we're lead to believe it's Area 51. :P

Re: false beliefs higher in neurotypicals

Long time no see Jacob, have I missed any thing? I mean have you posted anything lately? I continue to post videos to my YouTube if that's what you mean. I'm sadly scattered all over the place, and my coming here is one of those ventures. It makes it a little hard to get things done, but I think it...

Re: Is Prison Labor a type of Slavery?

Count on me to throw in a wench of random . I'm reminded of the world presented in Riki-Oh , where the future prisons have become privatized. Turns out having 1000s of employees that don't have to be paid can drain the economy when they are forced to do all the menial labor we would otherwise do. Mi...

Random searches brought up this page, and it's certainly interesting. Now I'm just curious about the shock such people go through when they finally learn no one is capable of reading their mind? :o

Re: in the search....

The Literal in me wonders how one can feel at home/save in all that salty wetness, given how you will either drown or dehydrate. But then again, it's not how I see home, and we are each allowed to find our dwelling. Mine own would likely have cows so I can have burgers now and then. To each their ow...
