OK, I'll get those dubbed as soon as I can get by to do it. There is a new DVD burner from Sony which sonds like it might be a great tool. Resonable price too. I have been shooting the second season which is poets from the CD 31 Arlington Poets -- of which I am one. So that is taking up my time righ...

First Season of Poetic Eye is Done
Doreen, LRod, et al: The first season of The Poetic Eye is done. There is a total of 6 shows. Four of the shows are from the Cabaradio shoot from last June. It has been a learning process and not an easy one. Producing a TV show is really a full-time endevour and not easily done in one's spare time....

We Are Both Sag
LRod,
Happy B'day. I turn over another digit in the 10's column on December 9th. If memory serves I'm only about 4 years behind you -- not that we are keeping track any more.

Who is that old man?
Damn, who is that old man who keeps appearing in my picture? Oh well I guess I'll have to learn to live with him. Beats the alternative.

Thanks Lucy!
It is hard to live and work in DC the way I do and not become sometimes too cynical. Poetry is at least a way to make things a little more subtle in one's critique of the received view.

Glad to help inspire
Hester,
Always good when work inspires other work and we all move along with the vibe. The Internet is a great place after all. Keep on keeping on.
Peace,
Perry

Subliminal Zen Let’s secretly expose all those undecided voters in Missouri and elsewhere to a beautiful Zen-like flower of thought and let them drift on an eternal blissful ethereal journey to the place of all elemental unfolding fusions and illusions where the size of every big ego is smaller than...

LRod/Doreen,
You are both becoming the stars of Arlington Cable. I'm going to be crewing this Thursday, so I look forward to seeing you both.

Jack Shea -- RIP
I don't know how many of you may have encountered Jack Shea. I think I have seen promos for his documentary Who Owns Jack Kerouac on LitKicks. The sad news is that he died recently. He fell down some spiral stairs at his home in Scotland and before anyone found him he had bled to death. He stayed at...

Cabaradio June 19th Show
The first of three Poetic Eye shows that I'm pulling from Cabardaio is almost done and should begin showing this Wednedsay. I'll look into burning it into DVD from AVID although I have been told that can take 6 hours! The first show includes the opening and goes through Wireman. This is a learning p...

Don't let the bastards get you down
LR, As you know we (my wife is a literary agent and I help out when I can) deal with rejection on a daily basis -- both as rejectors and rejectees. It is such a subjective business and it is a business. So sometimes rejection has nothing to do with writing ability. Of course there are many folks wri...

Just joined up (Perry)
Doreen/LR, Maybe I shouldn't call myself PoeticEyeGuy as folks might get confused. Anyhow I finally joined up and now I'm trying to find my way around. I'll send some more material to you all soon. Although I'm going away this weekend. The good news is that I have finally managed to get the first ta...
