Don't Judge Me

Before you judge me
Look in the mirror.
Take a...
Good...
Long...
Look.

Don't Judge me.
Judge yourself first.

If after that you still feel right in judging me...
Go back and look in the mirror again.

You ain't looked long enough.

Re: " normal" sex

I'm not much into "normal" sex either.
I want sex to take me out of my depth.
I want "the little death."
I want something other than something like showing up at work, just another day.
I want sex that is "different" than every other aspect of my life.

Moment

Moment

Even the tiniest pebble
When striking the surface of still waters
Can stir it up
If only for the briefest of moments.
And that smooth, still surface, I like to think, remembers.
It remembers being stirred up by that tiny pebble
And cherishes the memory.

an ounce of gold has bought one tailor made suit since ancient Rome Is there a factual basis for this statement? Or is it merely your speculation? Your making a point? Did people really wear tailor-made suits in Ancient Rome? Here's the point I was making that you missed: when the Stock Market (and...

My absolute favorite part of this video, one of my favorites of all time, is the footage of the chair with the hand-lettered sign reading, "Reserved for my wife."

I don't know...It just means something to me.

Peace,
Barry

November Rain, Guns N' Roses; Into the Ocean, Blue october

I both hate and love this video. Wedding and funeral, how messed up is that? Will the Rose ever bloom again?

My own take on “right,” is that it’s pretty much a subjective affair. We’re lucky on those rare occasions to even discover what is ‘right’ for ourselves. But see, you assume I meant the subjective "right" of ethical or moral questions of right and wrong. I did not. I meant the objective "right" of ...

Yes Barry, gold is the one currency that government printers can’t cheapen so easily. It has been very good to me the past few years. But, gold too has its ups and downs, and is always erratic as hell. Not an investment for the faint of heart. Nor is it an investment to hold for over long. Check it...

My wife's step-father died in 2005. She and her two siblings were always told that this 3 million dollar property holding of his was their inheritance. Her mother has been telling us since then that 2011 is the date it will all come to fruition, the date the big payoff takes place. I will be advisin...

I watched Bicentennial Man today, a film written by Chris Columbus, of all people, from a story by Isaac Asimov, on THIS. It was about an immortal being who chose to die, if you get that. http://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&channel=s&hl=en&source=hp&q=Bic...

I knew a deadhead named Quinn, Quinn the Eskimo. He was an Eskimo from Virginia, if you fathom that.

Boss poem, dude. It connects.

Eminently, immanently beautiful, as if Pele came down to be a woman, a mother, a wife, a sister, a lover, her fine stone-spun hair draped upon a pillow of eternity forever, the sea crashing round, turning fresh-made land to sand, to become in the end, the seafloor.

Peace,
Barry
