vibrant, miniscule

vibrant, miniscule "Happy," I muttered, trying to pin the word down. But it is one of those words, like Love, that I have never quite understood. Re: The flare

this seems to be pointing at the thing but not calling it what it is.

just seems lazy

you tell a doctor "it hurts when i do this" and he says "don't do that"

what, exactly, is the pain and anguish?

name THAT and let's all dance honestly

Re: The Pumpkin Man Rides His Bike

after every crash
there's that voice
in yr head, asking
ya gonna get back up
and make a good run?
and there's that
other voice
that says

Re: 1930's Movie Star

i agree with 'bus

however, i gotta disagree with your word change. i like "with" better than "having"

the punctuation makes a great poem even better.

Re: Wholly Silence

the holy silence?
yes, yes
i have found peace
in the words
i saved
for myself
mumbling humble
whispers to only
my ears, lips
still. beautiful
stillness
i haven't moved
from this spot
on the rug
in 3,000 years

Re: My writing days may be over

i've been going to open mics and poetry readings since 05 and never once been in a bar.

people talking over the poetry being read? ew.

just saying, the bar is not the only place for poetry.

some of my favorite events were in art galleries and coffee shops.
