I finished my novel. Well, novella, cuz it's only 150 pages long. But it's finished . It's really rough, gonna need a lot of work. But the damn thing is done. Just a first draft, story I've tried to tell for years, lots of love, life, tragedy and salvation. Had to let the characters write themselves...

I submitted an idea I've had for awhile. It's about a better way to fill sandbags in an emergency. Ever seen news footage of a flood? They use a shovel. It's ridiculous. Whether Google picks my idea or not, I'm developing it.
