I understand you, Creative Spirit ... I too have walked with the gods, and continue to do so ... there is so much out in that wonderful world of nature that is beautiful and moving. Sue♥♥♥

If writing a poem that pleases the poet is an orgasm, words must be semen, and the ultimate result combines with the egg for BAM, another poem! Creatiion into Creative equals orgastic intellectual stimulation. Does that make any sense? Probably not, but it's too early in the morning to think sensibl...

Oh, my, yes, how well it works! Took me umpty-million years to figure out, just be nice to people! So they stomp on your toes when you try to help them across the street, elbow you when you stand aside so they can exit the elevator ... just smile, smile, smile! Finally that damn smile sort of grows ...

It is so wonderful when someone reads a poem you have written and immediately understands what you are trying to say. Thank you, Judih! ♥♥♥

A short poem that poses a question. The first 25 years take 43 years to pass, the next 25 years take 15 years to pass, and after that it's peace and quiet.

The forest of life is filled with wondrous trees and each leaf on each tree is an acquaintance, a loved one, a relative, a friend. There are only Four Seasons to each life, and my Autumn is upon me. My trees are filled with leaves of every hue, from the palest green of a young grandchild to the deep...

Lovely haiku, Hollweg, and so true! A haiku is the beginning of a poem the reader will evolve further without being aware of it.

And thank you for your note, Dadio. I have been neglectful of my fellow poets lately, forgive me, I am still obsessed with the book!

Joel, you know I like your poetry, and as far as I am concerned, with this poem you have surpassed yourself. The images are just incredible -- rich, strong, with meanings within meanings. You are saying so much and using such beautiful and subtle metaphors. It is a poem to read over and over. Sue♥♥♥
