this is wild...put a smile on my face...I was a couple of years older when my friends and I formed our first band...we only played Rolling Stones' songs for the first year......they get an A for effort....nice presentation amongst the cacophony .....the poetry is priceless
are you worried ?

thank you Lrod, I was close to mine as well...both very different men,
but in each case, I reference the way they conducted themselves,
what was important to them all the time.....also thanks to westie, mtmynd, and hester, I enjoyed your feedback....

we walked in the tall corn, flapping waves of grain like those tv ads at 3 am when channel six goes off the air, and I surely would have been lost if it weren't for granddaddy's knowing footprints to place my little boots inside. superb....it would be tough to pick a favorite stanza, but if I were forced to I'd go with #2....she can do accupuncture with her high heels and my mind reels at her logic I call my baby the Sea of Tranquility because she is on the moon good stuff....loved it

loved the ceremonial history...reads like significant ancient lore and should be taught in public schools....we have nearly eliminated rites of passage, and the one you describe is a beautiful rendering of the poet's importance....very enjoyable read, mingo...

if only we could get a turnout like that above ground...of course it wouldn't matter much which party of "representatives" had the reins...
but at least we would know that voter turnout is the least of our problems....I hear Beelzebub is demanding a recount......

I can't think of a healthier way to turn adversity into an asset ....
the only thing we have control over, is our attitude.....
