man is clever; man is great
to take the crooked, make it straight
with roads and bridge do chasms cross
with might, he minimize his loss
while somewhere, something must be lost

but blinders keep him from the cross

never fails to shine
in the lights of
a mother's eyes
when they come to rest
upon their child

amber gold
prisms rolled
sky eyes
never too young nor old
to take back that sigh
thru lights of wonder

the sixties
absorbed into
the seventies
underground in
the eighties
confused upon the
the nineties
sold and bought
in the aught years

of not yet fully realised
joy to the world

all grew quiet
in the arms of love
nothing negative
to rise above
no juxtaposition
upon which to side
one or the other
instead to ride
the neutralizing
reconciling
truly high
three forces blended

emotions and mind

if mine eyes were ripped
from life's brilliant hues,
i would miss them, yes
but do my best
to grow feelers of a different sort
ones that taste of color's dews
the smell of greens
the cool of blues
reds and yellows
and all the brilliant inbetweens
of you

perfect in form
his lighted frame
do make the world move
and shadows
but follow his game

candy acid
flying high
the inside escapes out
to where you are I
lamplights lit
or perfect dark
familiar hearts
do lean into a high mass
of love

fruit or nut
flower
or weed
hummous or falafel
tomorrow's seed
round and fleshy
neatly sweet
no two alike
no matter how many millions
we eat

symbiosis
stares ignorance
in the face

take a pitcher
of that!
i am so left out
of the drinking scene
brown or clear
golden
or green
have one for you
and another for me.

fascinate me.. nonetheless
surely then, man do jest
for where he would make nature straight
it will eventually flatline him in his place

nature need not be taught the middle way
the apparently straight lines
of no need to fly so goddamned high
nor fall so low needlessly below
the apparently straight lines
of the middle way

man is much worse
with less of a spine
his mythos of time
his evil god self calming
and its twin god; tomorrow
