oh wow, yes of course I can see that now, but I must say this works well as a poem about breaking up with someone......the amazing thing about art...
you put it out, and then see what happens.....

gone the clear bulletproof bubble the sterile sphere youthful fancy, each year now hardened alloy steel honed by eyes that see beyond the sidewalk in front of me, gone the boyish games and toys of exuberance played out, padlocked away in an aging chest back in the corner, inside a dusty closet of me...

there is nothing wrong with feeling the reality that seems to be altering for the worse at an alarming rate......you temper that with a willingness to do what you can....that all we can do......live......feel empathy.....live a little more
