I guess it all started with those fig leaves.

Go ahead. Talk about it.

I been thinking about the fashion industry. I guess the devil does wear Prada. If not for that snake we would have no fashion.

That was a a lucky snake.

Sometimes

when I try to sum my times

I wonder

the odd thought strikes me

that I might still be a wombman hater

General Motors gone belly up

Imagine that

So what the hell am I saying

Any industry is better than none.

I am thinking about spending part of my 250 dollar social security windfall on getting my nails done.

I just noticed the cutest little shop just around the corner from me.

It is called Heavenly Nails.

Could be a good place to hit on some women.

"it ain't how ya feel
it's how you look"

us four f hippie conscientious objectors never look squared away

I been thinking about Hawaiian shirts lately

I got to find one by August for Homeboy and Diamond Lil's 50th wedding anniversary party. Speaking of children and marriage YOu heard from yabyum? I need to check out his blog. Always afraid I will post something that would embarrass his better half.

I don't know why I should care if those spontaneous posts he made to litkicks are gone. I am sure Ronnie is over it. So why should I care?

I hope you have a good holiday Cecil. I think this year I will be able to listen to the commander in chief's memorial day speach without wanting to puke.

"I think this year I will be able to listen to the commander in chief's memorial day speach [sic] without wanting to puke."

first things first, amigo - i know you'll not appreciate my inclusion of [sic], but please do not take offense... i like you and consider you a cyber-brother (if that's something or not), but i just can't hep myself... sometimes i feel like that famous detective of the new millennium, Monk... Adrian Monk (i'm a follower of his when time permits or when time remembers).

since i've retired from the regular work weeks holidays for me just aren't the same in any way other than by name and the realization that regular workers look forward to these holidays... i know i did. but as you know, we can have our own holiday whenever we want. ;)

'i'm still considering taking a vacation from this weeks sunday stream. it's more like an excuse to remove myself from doing a stream that sucks... sometimes that worries me. stupid thing, i know, but we're writers and we all question our writings from time to time... and this time is my time to wonder about the stream. i'd like to nail it.. it would be heavenly, but who knows, or as the border folks say: quien sabe?

oh, i thought you might want to know, amigo, today was our first farmer's market for this year... got up @ 4:30a. (tough job when your old(er)) and hit the market for the 6th year or so... turns out the crowd was damn good and we did damn good... a pleasant surprise for the both of us.... and time went by fast... before we knew it it was 12:00 noon and time to break down and go home. all0in-all a very good day, thank you.

thanks for being, truck.

Yes I agree that is stupid.

Thanks for cutting me some slack on the typos. I am a reject from the litkicks wwriter's work shop. I no longer worry about being a writer.

I must be hell for English majors to read. I don't know how Doreen puts up with me.

Anyway I am glad you had a good day.

I been thinking how I used to say that everything I write seems to be about women and children.

which is pretty Freudian shit stuff I know.

Well you have had a long day old man don't forget to get your beauty rest.

I got a thousand mile over night buzz going and I am going to ride it some more.

I started this thread thinking about girly girls

Can't underestimate a girly girl.

I would rather have a fashion industry than a auto industry if I had my druthers.

I am figuring you are tired and grumpy

Maybe as much as I miss a Sunday without a stream you should take the day off.

Pardon me Cecil, I thought the heart of a stream was spontaneity. You write it or you don't, If you write it and everybody loves it, you get a prize. And If you write a sucky stream then what? I think sucky stream is an oxymoron.

I will edit this now maestro.

man cannot understand woman, much less man. despite our sapiens we understand we don't understand half of that which we pretend to understand while playing we understand the other half of that which we say we understand. we do this to be understood.
;)

g'night, amigo... enough is enough.

sleep tight old friend .

Beats me Cecil me why we all want to be understood. I have had an arrested development. I just discovered girls at the the tender age of 68. A dam good joke if you ask me. I try to use the words Jesus Christ and erectile dysfunction in a sentence. Maybe I just did.

This is me in a fun house mirror, not so much about women as about me and what I think. Men have just as much stuff as women, but women have more clothes. Just me discovering my fooldoomhood.

Why do fools fall in love?

Women have served all these centuries as looking–glasses possessing the magic and delicious power of reflecting the figure of man at twice its natural size. Without that power probably the earth would still be swamp and jungle. The glories of all our wars would he unknown. We should still be scratch ing the outlines of deer on the remains of mutton bones and bartering flints for sheep skins or whatever simple ornament took our unsophisticated taste. Supermen and Fingers of Destiny would never have existed. The Czar and the Kaiser would never have worn crowns or lost them. Whatever may be their use in civilized societies, mirrors are essential to all violent and heroic action. That is why Napoleon and Mussolini both insist so emphatically upon the inferiority of women, for if they were not inferior, they would cease to enlarge.
