Archie!!! Holy shit , Love his stuff specially Mama Rose....saw him perform once....he only played one song....and then the rain came down.....wrote a poem about it.....

So there I am...

..driving down the boulevard and the clouds are unfolding and buckets
drop on my pick up and the wipers being mad and all I'm thinkin is this
gig I was at so long ago with that note as only archie shepp blows it
and the clouds again unfoldin archie and gang up on the covered stage
and down below umbrellas like psylocibin poppin open all colours on the
green of the downtown park archies' sax drops from his aging lips to
become the poet he is too tellin us about Mama Rose..." Your vagina
split asymmetrically between the east and the west..." and ya my groove
is high and his words fall on the crowd mixed with all that city rain
but thats' ok cause now I'm drivin down the boulevard...........

and as long as we are reminiscing

My favority Gidget wasn't Sandra Dee, but Deborah Walley

Red hair and doe-brown eyes.

She was my first movie star crush

when I was about twelve.
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."
