That is a pretty thought but I find not much comfort in it.

I pledge not to participate in war. For what it is worth.
But I doubt if I will be missed. The wars will go one without me.

Brooklyn once asked if we really want peace.
Yes I want peace but I don't expect in this world during my lifetime.

I want to go to St Petersburg, Jack Kerouac said it is a good place to die.

The best I can do is create a little bubble of peace where I am.

one of the blessings of longevity that Martin Luther Kind jr spoke of, but some men seem to come to it in their youth, and that is mitzvah, a blessing I think the old folks call it.

for some reseason of I thinking about something a lesbian here said about old men.

seems so much of the strife in the world would be reduced if women had more say in the decisions governments make. Well maybe most women don't want to rock the boat. I doubt that.
