doreen, i can only repeat myself - the definition of palestine and palestinians (and the whole rest of the conflict) it is not as simple you you wish it to be (and as many others wish as well, including me, because a clear scheme of who is in the right and who is in the wrong would make things much much easier). i tried to explain about the background of the name palestine in my earlier posts; read them again and also check out the links, if you are really interested to know more - and, yes, it's a freaky lot of info, and, yes again, it's damn complex).
apart from who is right and who is wrong, apart from all namings and varying stories, bottom line is though, that people are suffering there. and as i have said before, this is what needs to be solved, and this is the responsibility and challenge for all those involved who are in power...
