Having Seen And Heard What Has Happen To A Certain Book!!!!

I say we should all go out and either buy or borrow a copy of the Qur'an and show solidarity in knowing and understanding this book.

Flushing books down the toilet... hmm... doesn't that screw up the septic tank? *maniacal laughter ensues*

izeveryboyin please this is not what I'm trying to get at!!!! I'm saying that we should read this book and understand what it means. Then we will have more respect for it.

Sorry Dave, am evil miscreant who must joke about evrything. But really, I agree. I've read a lot of the Koran/Qu'ran, and I think it's got some geniunely good principles, but I'm not very keen on religion, so maybe I'm not the one to respond. I do think though that it didn't deserve to be desecrated in such a manner. That was really stupid and pretentious. Don't blame the book, blame the extremisist who took the book completely out of context... and instead flush him down toilet. LOL!

There has been religious fanatism from all sides since when ever that needs to stop right now!!!! There should be a religon of respect in place. Then there wouldn't be any problems what so ever!!!!

Well, maybe... but then there would always be someone who wanted to rebel from said religion, in lieu of following what one has been force-fed from birth.

two creams, two sugars, thank you. No decaf, no latte, no foaming at the mouth, etc. If you do, you're fired!

If I could read I might try to get through it.

Superstition is more injurious to God than atheism.
-- Denis Diderot, Pensées Philosophiques (1746), quoted from Jim Herrick, Against the Faith (1985), p. 73

Hang there Dave, this great awakening going on is big snooze if you ask me. We need all the free thinkers we can get. That link has some 8) quotes.

I like this one too
God is not mocked except by believers. Anne Sexton
