I just read the latest post on Litkicks
No, Litkicks isn't dead! Marc (Levi) said he wants to pump new energy into the place, to keep pushing, exploring, in a place on the Net that has been mostly dormant for a few years. Love that! (I also like that he called himself "lazy"-- as if!)

Yes, it never died. It’s his blog. Has been since the beginning.

It technically never died (but it kind of did). I just like hearing that he'll start paying more attention to it.

Ohh, I’m sorry. I didn’t know he had paused his attention to it. I never really followed his blog entries.
Glad to hear he’s back doing his writing! Enjoy

The one about AI? I skimmed it. I didn’t really understand the terminology acronym he was talking about. I’m not really interested in AI enough to learn about it, I guess. Oh, I’m interested in whether it will take over the world and my anxiety condition makes me worry about whether it will do evil things to our already broken and evil world. But I just skimmed it. It was over my head.

Do you know what LLMs are? Large Language Models. I don’t know what that refers to. lol
I come from the 20th century. I’m just trying to keep up. Seriously. It’s embarrassing to say something is over my head, but at least it’s honest.

You're not alone, so don't feel bad. I hate my iPhone because I don't understand it, and have never learned how to use it. It was given to me as a gift/payment for fostering my ex's dog last summer, and as a lifeline for all the time I spend alone in the woods. It's useless to me because I don't know how to use the goddamned thing, so it mostly sits at home on a shelf. (Though it's on my desk beside me now, primarily because I can't see the mantle clock from here.) I once spent half an an hour struggling to delete a number from my contact list, and accidentally called a total stranger trying to reply to the guy who power-washed my roof. I hate the thing. Yet I still enjoy programming, write a lot of my own software, and spent 7 years of my life doing it professionally....

Haha, I didn't understand most of it either. What I meant was, I'm just glad he says he'll be more active on the site this year. I still enjoy trading comments with him once in a while.
