Weary Ward Clerk

Post by hester_prynne » December 9th, 2005, 10:32 pm

This job is strangely perfect.....

Just the name alone.."Ward Clerk" I find appealing.
I'm hoping for a nametag that says that on it, beneath my name.

I started work on Tuesday...will be a Tuesday thru Saturday day gig. I prefer having Sundays and Mondays off. Always have. (Like I said..it's a strangely perfect job....)

I'm very weary though. It's a physical as well as desk job. It feels grand to be getting back in shape, I can really feel it. Heh.

I'm still kind of in wowsville.
I know this.

Just dropped in to see what condition yere conditions are in.
And of course, tell you mine.
Heh
Smoochies!

You're hoping for a name tag ....

I waited over six months for some business cards and finally got 'em.

Can anyone say, after me, "too little, too late"?

Seriously, Hes, your hours are GREAT because Monday is the day you can take care of business, free and clear of the usual crowd, and Sunday is the day you can party with everyone else. Those are good hours.

As for physical -- any job that forces you to get off your butt numerous times in the day and do some WORK is an awesome job. I loved washing dishes in a hospital for just that reason. Manuel Labor is a pretty nice guy. Too much headwork is what makes you tired, not the other thing.

Sounds like, so far, you've got the ideal mix of activities, in a job that gives you just what you want. Keep us posted.
