Yes, I watched the small blurb of it on the news. I loved what Cohen had to say about his friend's life, accomplishments and how Layton would have wanted to be remembered. And he will be remembered for a long time to come I am sure.

I heard that Irving Layton had suffered from alzheimers and was in a home for the last 10 years or so. Tis well and good that he has moved on to, shall we hope and think, better and brighter vistas.
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
