STUDIO EIGHT is the statement of Mrinalini Singh, an Indian artist, of the environment in which she would like her art to be viewed. This online gallery, designed by her, is an extension of her canvas. The design reflects the concepts that she works on as an artist. The lotus, or water lily is chosen as much for its symbolic connotations as in a manner of personal indulgence.

Two main galleries are dedicated to Mrinalini's abstract paintings in oils, and in watercolor and ink . A third gallery is host to the artist's latest experimental works in mental doodles. These are groups or clusters of line drawings that together compose an art work. The artist has outlined the thoughts and methods behind these experiments.

yes. i've seen it.

she's got some good work on there! It's a one-person site where Mrinalini Singh displays her work. Good stuff! She's got good taste, too! Great name!

As we always say in advertising... "You can't think of anything new" and "Every project is different!"

Maybe she'd like to have a page in the images/artists section... I've been meaning to get in touch with her... really cool work!

Eight is the symbol to me for infinity sideways. Inspiration is like that. It goes on forever with all of us connectiong in ways we never had imagined....

I've had the email address studioeigh@aol.com for 7 years, knowing I wanted to do something with it eventually...

and here we are.... hopefully the main site launched somewhere between now and infinity sideways....... *sigh*

btw, there are also studio eight music production studios and other uses of the name which I ran across....

great minds think alike, i guess.....

of course there are also studio ones and studio twelves and studio fives and studio twenty first centuries and like that.....



a "studio" name plus a number (or a letter... there are those, too).... what a grand idea!

here's also the answer to all of the people who have asked or might ask... "why dot TV"?

Answer? - dot com was taken.

After discovering that, I was happy about it because I never would have thought of dot TV otherwise.
