Julio Lopez (a construction worker), testified in the juicio to Etchecolatz (a torturador in the last dictadura, at those times police's chief).
Julio Lopez was considered a "key testigo" in the jucio.
Julio Lopez dissapearead more than a week ago.
There were marchas asking for Jose Lopez's apparition with life during these days in different parts of the country.
There were a lot of controversies inside the Human Rights Organizations too. Hebe de Bonafini, from the Madres de Plaza de Mayo said that Jose Lopez weren't a traditional right left militante (the newspapers only said as relevant facts that he had a brother that is a police officer and that he lives in a neighborhood of police people) and that all this is a maniobra against the actual government.
Julio Lopez is still missing until now.

The next Aliberti's article shows all the possible hipotesis and tried to reach some conclusions. Good, difficult effort sometimes to think in the land of "everything is possible". I liked the whole article except the last sentence, maybe I misunderstood it.

I saw that a couple days ago.
Plenty of weirdness going on here with our Southern Canadian neighbors. I have spent so much time in Laredo. But that was years ago. It was a tough town if you did not speak Spanish, but I got by with:
Gracias.
Now shootings every day and negotiations for kidnap victims.
