I should be a prime candidate for carpal tunnel syndrome
almost everything I do requires repetitive motion of my fingers
the most obvious one comes to mind, but I won't mention that
(whack, whack) and then there is typing, where most people get it
and I have this guitar which torments me almost as much as the piano
and the flute with endless scales and finger tricks. I must be immune.

head and shoulders, fingers, toes ...
Can you imagine what it was like when folks used to write with ink dipped sharpened quills by candle light? Maybe you are of that descent, and in this life have it so much better that there's no way your relieved extremities could complain. Those prone to CTS these days may have had more previous life experience feeding chickens and digging turnips.
Just a thought.
