Go ahead. Talk about it.

Silent Woman a book about Plath the first time I became aware of that Durer picture.
as she sat in that restaurant with her coat over her shoulders in a hunched posture that unsettlingly fused willfulness with dejection, I thought of Durer's allegorical rendering of Melancholy.

I wonder why that Rothko painting feels so ominous to me?

I don't get art jim, I can't do it, I can't even talk about it.

seems like I spew plenty 8)

I think it was something Zlatko said.
Kind of intimadated me about spewing forth about art.

just too deep for me
my eyes are glued to the two fold continuous multiplicity of my field of visual sensation

I am sure there must be a zen way of saying that
how about
"do not objectify sensory data"

I got that quote wrong I think

I think it should be "do not objectify sensory data" not sensory objects.

It is from the Dalai Lama in a book called The Art of Happiness

. He gives some simple intructions for meditation. He says do not objectify sensory data or stop objectifying it. ( i cant remember his exact words )

You know me always ready to spew forth about the phenomenology of zen.

but i think I am more a spurter than a spewer.

I don't know but i think you shoulda posted this thread to The Anti-Academy studio which is what i set that up for!

Is that "writing about music is like dancing about architecture" from ... where? Sounds like a famous quote. Or is it an L-rod original? Brilliant idea in any case.

But you can dance about architecture: e.g. Jimmy was dancing all about the Parthenon.
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.
