Cool. I'm hearing like Huell Howser voice overs, maybe a little old honky tonk piano lots of PBS reverb, that sort of mystery-hick fiddle, seeing sepia-tinted montages of mining towns, ho's in big hoop dresses, etc. Maybe an endorsement from Coors, or somethin'....................
I think I'm done...
judih: Yeah, I rearranged these bits a few days back. I think it will "flow" better in chrono. order (surprisingly)... I'll just present it with a "Notes from a Novice" subtitle, implying wide-eyed newbie journal stylie, not a cohesive story... keep expectations down and it will be better than expected?... yeh, more or less sequential (though with slight fudging of the timeline here and there).
As for compulsory editions of a book, if I understand your question, it's individual preference I guess. Fire away or start anew. I'd consider new editions for awhile, but publish anew after a long time has passed. Just me.
Doreen: The first few printings will be text only, but I hope to integrate photo images into the mix fairly soon. Thanks for the good word, and we trust in the power of Infinite Tide. It will roll in when the time is right. No worries.
Toten.... I guess maybe a couple chapters might fit that sepia-tinged-honky-tonk-huell-howser-hoop-dress-ho-pbs-hick-fiddle-milieu.... I did scribble a few bits on lost mines and such.... but alas, much of it will be whiskey-swillin', sandblasted poesy and sun-burnt, half-baked philosophy....
