How much does that non-forgiving weigh upon you? I'll bet you a dollar that you'd look so much better without that strapped to your back...
I'm willing to pay for the possibility of contributing to evolutionary social consciousness with wrinkles on my face and grey hair.

Would I look "better" without the wrinkles and grey hair I might get from trying so hard to make a point?

Well that's a matter of perspective. I might. Which is why I'm willing to invest in getting rid of my double chin. (see izeveryboyin's thread).. lol... BUT what is "better" and what is not "better" anyway? Perspective again.

It's all what you think of yourself and how you feel that counts.

Her social consciousness or your social consciousness... or maybe my social consciousness...? It's all opinion and opinions carry the consequences that truth does not.
BUT what is "better" and what is not "better" anyway? Perspective again.
Again, 'better' for you is not my call or anyone else's call... only you can make that call... and should make that call... yes?

that's what i said... perspective

it really doesn't matter .. whatever you think of "her" or "me"

it's just perspective.

I said.....

You said
Her social consciousness or your social consciousness... or maybe my social consciousness...? It's all opinion and opinions carry the consequences that truth does not.
my answer is...

the entire WORLD's social consciousness....... meaning ALL the people who think that this person should have been laughed at when she walked on stage just because of the way she looked or because of her age

ALL that!

.......
You were the one statiing that I could be "better"....

i'm ok just like I am

So we agree on that account anyway

love to you, Cecil

Never saw the show, but I wonder if the producers did not make an effort to have her appear frumpy? You know it would make for better television?

it has occurred to me that she could be a ringer. But it's still a great story.

no idea of what you were talking about, I had to google it!

yeah, I guess we all are sadic, cruel, plain, predictable, fear-full and faith-full from time to time and that those british? looked too much roman-circus and it seems tv masas always loved (in their own terms) redemption songs and Susan somehow looked confortable with those bunch of idiots as audience and jury and it´s inevitable to take sides...! so, who knows?

That poor woman. This patronizing crap. She's not that great. It's everyone else feeling great for finding a vintage breath of fresh air in their overglamourized, cheap, untalented pool of celebrity.
