Doreen the quote is from Einstein. I am not following much of this conversation. .

I was listening to an audiotape of Men are From Mars and Women are From Venus. It has some good stuff in there I am sure, but just as I was drifting off to sleep I heard him say something that got my attention, I almost said bullshit out loud. He was telling women let your man pull away from you and return. I know some women who only wish there men would pull away and give them some space. I was thinking about spider woman and her husband. She was losing her mind, he was a nice guy but he could not shut up. She had to be there for him 24/7 she finally told him that she had to have an hour a day to herself, she went into the den and locked the door. Even her kids could not come in unless it was an emergency. I do not think her experience was so untypical. My sister has a similar experience with her husband too.

I think there are people who are sole proprietary businesses. I know I am.
Cat I do not know maybe I was wrong about biology. Maybe women did get a bad deal. That ticking clock. But the women of studio eight make me think that there are many women who say, 'thank you lord of the universe for not making me a man."

I almost said bullshit out loud.
I said BULLSHIT outloud over and over when I tried to read one of that idiot's books!

What's his name? Gray?

Pop psychologist attempting to put women and relationships back 2 centuries.

The guy's books should be used as a prime example of what NOT to do!

He's a major sexist!

The fact that his books became best sellers is very very scary!!!!

doreen, I know you can talk the talk
but can you walk the walk?

if you want to talk about love as a business relationship, that's fine.
I think money in exchange for sex is a fair deal. That's an honest relationship. Straightforward, both parties meeting each other's needs. You have to be a good businessperson to be a whore.

It's true that in any good relationship, business or otherwise, BOTH parties have to get what they need. It's an exchange. But there is also a rate of exchange. We all don't use the same currency. If what you need is to have the lawn mowed and what I need is a blow job, then we have to settle on a rate of exchange--they are two different currencies like dollars and yen.
This rich guy goes up to a classy woman and asks if she will sleep with him
for money. She says no and he asks if she would do it for a million
dollars. She says she would do it for a million dollars, but he answers
back would she do it for a thousand dollars, and she says no. He says, "No
whore in the world is worth a $1000, I'm certainly not going to pay more
than that.." The woman answers, "But I'm not a whore." He says, "Yes you
are, we established that. Now we're only quibbling about the price."
Don't quibble about the price.

$1500

I think that's fair considering a toilet handle costs only $15.99 at Home Depot but it cost me $154 for one the other day.

Job opening - $50 an hour for home maintenance work.

Paid on the 15th and 30th of each month.

In a week, you'll have $1500.

A Random TAO Quote for today

Heaven and Earth last and last.
Why do they last so long?
Because they are not self-serving!

This don't mean nothing. I just want to see how many times I can make my name appear on the boards, I think I have about 19 stilltrucking's listed on the lright side as last poster. Been that kind of day here in San Antonio. Sun has not showed for days, COld windy and damp but no rain.
There are three things too wonderful for me, and four that I know not:
The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a snake on a rock; the way of a ship in the heart of the sea; and the way of a man with a woman
