City Paper Blog ... audience member's comment about Cabaradio!
I saw six shows. Best one was Cabaradio. It was a noble effort. It had a few few slips but it was packed with acts. From the start it promised much. The first number was a solo guitar piece that was the best picking I've ever heard. The straight, acoustic guitar sounded like a banjo, guitar, and mandolin all at once. A duo did a spectacular couple of bits with piano, spoken word, song and vid. I wasn't impressed with the dance company, or the band's bass player, or the heat in the hall. The show moved fast. I still need to find the names of the performers in this show. I dropped my program. A little help??
