the world is more or less
what we make it they say
we reap what we sow they say
and what goes round comes round
I don't know about that
It just don't seem fair to me
I waiting for someone here to explain reincarnation to me
You can never find a Hindu when you need one
So tuff luck kid you were born in Darfur
Not to wonder you will live three days and die today
But tomorrow you will come back as a white kid in orange country California.
I have nailed my shoes to the kitchen floor
All I can do road dream
><><<><><><><><><><<><><><><<><>><><<>
some of you are still out on the street
"with no arrows of direction painted under your feet" LC
Geoff too
Nice work if you can get it
Can you make a living at it
They say that there are no acccidents
But I think Zlatko is right
There are accidental successes.
Ride that gray dog yabyum
Ride it hard
Keep the momentum going
or entropy will get ya

we all have our monsters
Cenacle wrote a nice piece about entropy

Funny thing is that entropy is not a mystical kind of thing
It is as close to an objective fact as physics can get too these days
It is quantifiable quality, like heat
Heat death
http://www.physlink.com/education/AskExperts/ae181.cfm
In this quantum world
it is all about
"Spooky action at a distance" AE
Why not reincarnation
The world is more than we can measure
Not matter how eloquent our instruments become
Always be the mystery
Give the doctors blue robes with stars abounding
An age of medical miracles
And apes with nuclear weapons
It is the best of times
It is the end times
The worst of times
Let the good times roll
morning mourning melancholia
I dreamed my mother died again last night.

Beating time: Configurations of temporality in Jack Kerouac's On the Road
http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/ ... i_n8977688If reification congeals fluid temporality into rigid spatiality, Kerouac's insistence on the motion of travel sunders this bond by replacing stasis with flux.

my four replies to your four
At first I thought they were 'accidental" but in the end I put them down to art.
I am fighting the temptation to use and emoticon here.
Keep on rolling
we need the friction
Done,Three fingers whiskey pleasures the drinkers
And moving does more than the same thing for me
Willy he tells me that doers and thinkers
Say movin' is a closest thing to being free.

Thank you guys for your comments. Dave, that link was fuckin awesome....I have it printed out and fully intend on taking the tour. It's kind of a weird feeling for me.......I have on many occasion been compared to, or even called Neil Cassidy. I almost feel as if I am going to Denver to hang out with the man. If certain bars have pics and letters from the beats on their walls.....I wonder what they'll think of me. I'll keep you all posted.

http://www.radioblogclub.com/open/82714 ... 20Ohio.mp3In the winter of 1995, only two blocks remain of the Larimer Street Neal Cassady knew.
...
This last two-block stretch of semi-decrepit Larimer will probably be gone by the winter of '97 -- young architects are already living on the second floors of boarded-up buildings while they supervise ground-level renovation projects below
The beatest parts of any city I have ever found are down around the produce markets. From Hunts Point NY to Los Angeles. Maybe that is still there in Denver. Jack humping, unloading those box cars.
It is all about motion.
Keep on keeping on
while you can
If you ever find true love
stop
stop \ right there

That's bullshit
That's just what I wish I had done.
I spent a lifetime, no I pissed away a lifetime trying to figure out what drives me.
