Hey, s'malt... nice seeing your name around here... how's life in the big city (still in Chi' town?)... and still doing the law trip?

That picture you mentioned on Litkicks was our (unofficial) wedding picture taken in San Francisco, circa 1970. Yes, we've been together that long! :)

Happy New Year to you!

I still snoop around here. Yes, still in Chicago and the burbs. Right now, it's about 30 degrees here and we had snow last week. I'm sick of it already.

Still doing the law thing. I actually tried a case in Brownsville, TX in February, 2008 that involved a lady who claimed to have suffered a traumatic brain injury in Port Isabel, TX, just before the causway that leads to South Padre. Not too far from you, no?

I hit all the hot spots: Harlingen, McAllen, Brownsville. I even ate at Rudy's.

And yes, the good guys (me) won.

sorry to hear about the cold there... it's 61 right now (4:30) but cloudy.

it's about 850 miles from Phar Lepht to S. Padre Island... a good 12 hour drive if the traffic isn't too bad, ;)

ate at Rudy's! a lucky man to chow down on that texas bbq... we have 2 of those joints here but we haven't been to them yet... too much mexican food to eat.

congrats on winning that case. you are a good guy! don't change for chump change. ;)

oh yeah
I was afraid to look
You are still beautiful to me sister/granddaughter, who the hell am I to tell you about it. Just like a man I suppose. Sorry about that.
you know how paranoid I am
I thought you was mad at me because I mentioned the nine hundred pound rhino in the room.

I hope you are having a good Christmas.
Mine has been uncanny
best christmas I have had in twenty years.

Why would you be afraid to look. It's only me. My image is nothing compared to my mind. (:

Who gives a fuck about rhinos in the room. They weigh a lot. you can't move them. Why try?

My Christmas was innocent and quiet and child-like. The way a Christmas is supposed to be.

I got no childhood Christmases to compare too.
a recent holiday for me even now after thirty years.
ten four on christmas and children

the only child I do not associate with this holiday is the baby jesus.
I am too old to be an anarchist but I am a sucker for your poetry.
I have read your recent poem to creative board link here four times so far.

I suppose I am a heretic. I Keep this pagan holiday the best I can. It is all about children and being grateful..

good to see you
