It seemed that the Uruguay President named as a consul in Gualeguaychu a diplomatic that was also diplomatic during the dictadura...strange... but that was two days ago, now they are doing something about it.

At the same time the president of Uruguay said that is necessary to do something in relation to the dialogue/road with Argentine, or something similar to this.

The asambleas said that they will evaluate if the begin again with the road and bridges cuts.

The Argentine cancilleria said that Botnia built only "a little".
Botnia said yesterday in a Montevideo's newspaper that they will need 2000 more employees...
La Haya said nothing...

new ministra of Medio Ambiente and Desarrollo Sustentable. The newspaper says that she's 35, a lawyer, a ambientalist militante and that she went to La Haya with the Argentina propuesta/denuncia? (I really don't know what it was). She thinks that it's not probably to avoid the empresas to stablish near the river but she's for to control the contamination effects and that the empresas be far away from populated sites... We'll see.

A informe made by the Universidad of Uruguay say that river Uruguay fishes will be seriously affected by the pasteras desechos. (So, these must be happening in some way in the Carcarana y Parana already...).

yesterday's news:

http://www.pagina12.com.ar/diario/elpai ... 07-14.html

first time I heard our president talk in tv since more or less the last campaign. He looked annnngry with unexpected chips of self applauded humor about everything except about La Haya incident. Curious.

La Haya thing... I can't trust them but I don't have other ideas at the moment. 6 months for a new meeting with "more" argumentos. I hate lawyers.

a caravana yesterday in Gualeguaychu against La Haya's whatever.

The argentinian Environment Secretary is talking in Washington with the directors of the World Bank for not to give credit for the construction of the pasteras. The Vice Minister of Industry of Uruguay is in the same place doing the opposite thing.
The King of Spain announced that nex November 14 will be the first meeting with "facilitated dialogue" (from his mouth?) between The Uruguay and Argentina presidents.
About that, the Economy Minister of Uruguay said that there is not "dialogue clima" and that the instalation of Botnia is an "absolutely innegotiable point" and also that sure the objective of the dialogue will be the "cut of routes and the bloqueo to Uruguay". About this point is "supposed" that the king will "facilitate the negotiations"...
