Why do I post to studio eight?

I love learning about other people and places, hearing other people's views and opinions, and seeing other people's artistic endeavors. Thus, I was forced to choose 'enlightenment and self-discovery'. 'More time than money' was also a strong contender, however.

Thanks for voting bohonato
I don't remember you ever posting anything here that was mean spirited.
I wish I could say the same for myself.
I suppose that is why I post here,
still trying to practice right speech.

I like the choice 'To prove I still exist though just virtually' though i didn't vote for that.
mY REASONS more like to prove i don't exist except virtually. that's differnt.
stilltruckin, you have to correct your kerouac quote or prove the source of citation. I thought always it was "i'd rather be thin than famous / i don't wanna be fat ..." were does he say "rich"?

Ok e-dog I will check it out.
but I have a feeling you are right.
This is the source from a blog

Yep, you are right, I just grabbed the first quote and did not read through to the next post.
This guy said:
Random Kerouac quotes. pretty good stuff, but I'd rather be thin than rich is a surprise.

But then he was corrected by this guy:
His quote was actually "I'd rather be thin than famous," which is funny in an ignu sort of way.

You know I been thinking about it for the past couple days. It just never made much sense to me because if I was rich I bet you I would be thin.
I appreciate the modulation.

morphine..?? (I´m joking again!)
I have to say that I like all the reasons above, so I don´t know how to vote...

I'd like to add another choice
"because doreen makes me do it"
I love a dominatrix
as far as Kerouac quotes are concerned, he mumbled, you see. It's hard to get an accurate quote unless it's in writing. I can relate to that.

Bennie I suppose I post here mostly because I miss the road. This place gives me a feeling of trucking. I look up at my globe and I see Scotland, I see Argentina, I see the east coast of the Former United States of America. It gives me the illusion of motion. And that is freedom for me.

B/c no one else thinks the mindless chatter (kickback to litkicks) I produce is at all interesting or worthy of comment besides you guys... and a girl likes to have her ego stroked every once in awhile.

the virtuality reality of my existence
presumes me to post
before I forget what my name is
and
who's my daddy
or some such nonsense
my nonsense factor
inflicts its notion to post
where I might reach out
into the cosmos
and virtually touch
something less
than disaster
clear enough?
I thought
not
