Sinners!!!
according to Dante and Pope Gregory the Great
there are seven deadly or cardinal sins
lust
gluttony
greed (or love of money)
sloth
wrath (anger)
envy (jealousy)
and
pride
which ones are you guilty of?
from where will your damnation originate?
I pick the sin of pride
but sloth is a close second

That's pretty good that you can analyze yourself so accurately. (I don't see that you voted yet, tho.... go ahead... don't be scared... this is a democracy!.... vote!)
I choose wrath.
Wish I could figure out how to control my anger. The only thing I know how to do to control it is to remove myself from the circumstances that cause it.
But sooner or later another circumstance arises and I get angry again.
Oh well. Maybe anger management classes should be put on my calendar.
Most of all, I get angry at myself for getting angry. I hate getting angry. It's very hard on me.

I love moot questions.
They make me feel like a theologian. Dante put a little finer point on it than that LR. Maybe you think I quibble, but considering what is at stake I think we should not be too hasty.
I noticed that totenputz put that guy Choo who killed all those people at virginia tech he put him in the malabolgia which I thought was odd.
Dante reserved the eight circle for hypocrites and flatterers not murderers. The violent only made it to circle seven a much more pleasant place than the Malabolgia.
I thought you said somewhere that you are perezoso. So I mention this to you. Could it be that he made a mistake. Not bloody likely is it?
Since my immortal soul is at stake I would like to take a little more time to vote on this one.
Be back after I sleep on it.

I thought about this and should amend my statement some.
I DO get envious sometimes of people who have more time to do what they want to do than I do and also more financial freedom than I do. I have worked hard all my life and still pretty much live hand-to-mouth and have little time and no accessable finances to travel and/or pursue many of my dreams.
So, I do experience envy occasionally but it's really not that often. But I have never envied anyone for their talents or their skills or their looks or any personal traits they have.

Looks ok on windows xp
are you using a Mac?
Beats me doreen it looks ok on my monitor
it lists the circle # and the sin
no idea waht is going on.
too bad I am unable to post to perezoso's thread,
I have been really curious about that spring spree post he made to creative.
Why would he put a murderer in with the hypocrites I wonder.

Oh I see. No, I don't believe in hell in the biblical sense. Hell on earth, I believe in. I see it every day. Hell as a place people go to after they die? No, I don't believe in that.
But the 7-deadly-sins are just a myth type of thing.... a way of saying that these human faults can cause downfalls in peoples lives, so that's how I was looking at it.
But now I get your point. Thanks for explaining.
