Hey gangstas!

Post by hester_prynne » June 21st, 2007, 2:46 am

I'm back on line, Stella is home, we're in our new place and all is well.
I find myself to be a bit in shock I think, making this big change but no regrets. Alot of relief actually. I really was going down the drain in Astoria. Too alone, too dreary, too many negatives. Much more positive here, more people to meet, more things to do, more light.
Yeah Yeah Yeah.
To tell you the truth, i'm exhausted.
But I think i've turned a corner and things are settling down a bit.
Landing from this gut-leap.
So far so good.
How are youse? What's new around here?
I've got some catching up to do here at the studio.
Lots to read.
Now that, i'm looking forward to....!

Anyways, hey all!

A long time ago I was so unhappy I went to see a psychiatrist. But I think what helped me the most was taking a new job in a different city.

It worked out good.

I hope it works out for you and Stella too.

I don't want to harp on it but is there ever a chance those songs will get reposted.

They got me thorugh some bad times better than Nietzsche or self pity.

Christ I miss singing. You've no idea what I wouldn't do to just be in a band singing, making enough money to live on and support my daughter with. The rest of the stuff you gotta do to just survive really sucks in comparison, deep down you know, I don't really give a fuck about corporations and their vampiric quests for money. Money is nothing but a fantasy to buy a fantasy with, sold to you by a snake in a plaid cap. Singing is like being in harmony with the soul dimension, rich, satisfying like gut laughter and ancient tears.
If only some rich eccentric person would buy me, and let me live in the carriage house, hidden in the big fat pale rose bushes behind the mansion, providing all the background music.

I think i'm getting carried away here.

(heh.. sorry hest.. just a reference to another thread where eugene wonders what the definition of lady is and seems to equate it with money and power.... not that your songs aren't very powerful, m'dear! I love you... did you know that? of course you did! *smooch*)

My dear LADY, if you want to monitor my vernacular, be a kind administrator, and i believe i have stated my definition of a LADY. Hester certainly has the power and authority of an accomplished and wonderful artist and musician. So what is really goin' on? Or what are you really asking?

Nothing's going on. Quit fucking with me. Be nice to me. Thank you. My writing is as clear as clear can be. If you don't get my humor, then oh well, right? LOL

I didn't misquote you. I quoted you. Using the forum software. What did I misquote? I can't possibly misquote you by pushing the quote button.

OK well I interpreted "MEANS" as being MONEY. My bad. Apologies.

Still power and authority have nothing to do with being a LADY, in my opinion.

Being a lady has to do with being refined and feminine. Again, in my opinion. Of course. Because I couldn't possibly be expressing anyone else's opinions but mine. I'm me. Being as refined and ladylike as I can be. :)
