...last night came wandering into the evening of my garden 2 S8 travellers weary for wine & revelry, art and poetry Judih(dot) and White Bird Sings ( ask her how she got the name - fascinating story )...filled theirs eyes and I my my empty mind with thoughts of now and then atop a hill where stood our common school..stories of highs and ill reputed teachers...red wine and 1/2 a beer...leaving behind unannounced to me a surprise of Life Flux...which I already treasure...was an eve I'll not soon forget... the pond gurgles on...

Some photos.
Janette & maple walnut ice cream
Janette and I
after some amazing ice cream on St.Clair St., Toronto
Janette and Kurt at his house
A shot Janette took of me and Kurt
i was too busy entering into Kurt's paintings to photograph them. The white on white series is so lush in its rich carved and textured glory. (See the paintings here on Studio
His portrait series is also so sensational. Up close is the way to view the fantastic interaction of face and artstyle.
And as always, the best family radiates charm when you visit Kurt.
Right, Janette?
(p.s. just got my net connection back. So it's been jet lagged body and no net cut off, but all's well)

sounds like a wonderful visit and one that many of us, i'm sure, would've enjoyed having.

nice to meet your photo White Bird Sings!!!! and nice to see Judih and artguy again!!
it seems you can be hours only looking at artguy guy walls and be entretained/amazed!!! the stripes wall is a wall paper, a wall paper made by you or is painted directly in the wall? also beautiful!!!
(my internet connection is already again at home since...mmm...more or less two months...I guess is a record...wow!!!)

yeah, awesome is the word.
forgot to mention the wonderful meditation series. Seeing them so close and in sequence is like a power trip through soul flight.
could we not arrange a little get-together in toronto? (wouldn't it be swell?)
the weather was so superb i still can't believe it. Back home, the heat is oppressive and i can barely walk outside after 8 a.m. or before 6:00 p.m.
Guess i was just lucky. When i was there those last days in July, the fresh warmth was conducive to walk, walking around the city. And did i mention hip hop festival, jazz festival, asian festival and street theatre? (all for free)
