I'm posting this here to encourage you all to talk to each other on the phone if you can. It really is a wonderful thing!

I've met a few of you in person and have talked to a few on the phone...and it's always great! I was going to write a poem about this but can't feel any poetry right now. But Jack's kind voice was poetry to me.

The internet is such a shallow medium compared to real life.

A phone call is so much more real than typing.

Reality is the shallow thing, the Internet is more real than real.

Resist the real. Say No to phone calls.

your speaking voice is different than your performance voice. Or maybe the difference is between the hardware. the phone v. the mp3 files.

My speaking voice probably sounded different because I had had about 3 vodka martinis the other night before I talked to you and also had been crying. Life is so much fun sometimes. Thanks for the ear. Friends are good to have.
