I may have miss understood you wireman
I thought you meant on litkicks
I don't need no stinking two hundred dollars to pass GO
I am happy to be out on the boulevard
bopping along with you all
I got GO
I suppose it is just my vanity
to think it is beyond A.P.
feel like a heretic to say that
burn baby burn

so it is done
the lazy eight rebellion
begins

My responses aren't instant over there.

Matter of fact, they have rarely showed up.

Three or 4 poems they put on there but it took about 24 hours for each to appear.

My responses rarely appear. I can't even reply to people who have replied to me to write a poem to let them know I appreciate that they read me.

I realize there's no action here, either... it's slow... but responses DO appear immediately! AND everybody who posts, their posts appear.

My name must be flagged as
a "Review before allow."
I've never understood the
the why of it, but somehow
it's obvious I am only partially admitted –
that some of my words are never permitted.

Set up the volley. Serve.
If I have some time, I'll observe.
I'm not much for being ostracized.
I'm way too old, way too wise.

I wrote and asked why my response didn't show.
And hey, whaddya know?
Nobody answered. Not a word.
Community management? Nah... Absurd!

.....

footnote - A community is what you make it. Spontaneity and jamming are available on the internet. But it won't happen in a vacuum. Invite your friends. As we say in advertising.... if you do nothing? Nothing happens. Then again you are doing something here by inviting the members of Studio Eight to take over another site's poetry board. So, that's doing something! All the best!

try to respond and it's instant
that's what i'm talking about
for me it's practically instant
if it's not for u let me know
i guess what i'm saying is this
this cyber shit is a gas
why else do it
if it's candy like arcanum
i'll go elsewhere
here it's honest
at litkicks it's inanimate

It's not instant for me when I resond, Mark. Sometimes it's never. It doesn't appear at all. I suppose I am still being ostracized to whatever degree they have decided. I have no clue why. I'm such a nice person. LOL! And a community builder. Whatever. I don't have time for it. I will stop by occasionally and post something maybe and see if it appears. If my replies continue not to appear, I don't see the point of it. I'll go elsewhere.

Sincere sympathies for the loss of your friend. :(

a funster funkster
a gypsy joker
a cosmic swirl
power to the poets
musicians and artists
some of us are toadstools
some blue angels of the chill

room for everyone
under the big tent of
the compassionate transistor

I still go there to read my favorites
but I am not wanted
barred for life
my ownd dam fault
I been banned before
I keep on keeping on
I don't look back
what it was was what it was
and it was so fine

but as j said
it is the way brooklyn wants it
he believes less is more

And some of us are less more than others
i suppose
as always
I am too more
I don't know D, I don't want to rub salt in your wounds, repeat gossip that I have heard. But for me you are no dumb chick that dont get it. When you dont get me I want to know
my sister my self

a community of strangers
an asylum for the eternaly heartbroken
and the terminally vain

gracias amiga
I may be a noxious weed
but I feel like a sunflower in your garden.

Sometimes so pathetic
and life goes on
in and out of the box
But always leave them laughing when you go
but I got a sick sense of humor

Life is a play and we all play a part
The Lover, the Dreamer, the Clown
The Dreamer and Lover are always in tears
The Clown spreads sunshine around
The life with a smile is the life worthwhile
The Clown till the curtain comes down
Laugh Clown Laugh based on the opera
