Studio8 - Uniting the Arts

Well, the servers that were hosting my website went down.

I had to migrate my whole site and a year's worth of The Poet's Eye column over to studio eight servers. It's been a day's project and I'm still not done. I have a headache.

I wouldn't even have mentioned it if it was a matter of four keystrokes

It took me three hours just to change the links.....arghhhh

plus I had to gather files from two computers and then try to back in to my old servers.

Fuckin' nightmare.

I've been where you are now and I know it ain't pretty. The results always seem to be better if I drink a little single malt scotch and curse the day you were born.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. But aww hell, let's give him a break, though. If he gets the interview pages and S&Z pages back up by 5PM, I'm ok with it.

LR- Your sperm bank page is a ridiculous ad. No woman in her right mind would buy a concept like that. What do you think will happen if you keep running that ad? Do you think some idiot woman will meet you on the internet and invite you to come home with her? Ha! For those little squigglies? If a lady did anything like that, she'd really need to have her head examined. But go ahead and keep advertising. Maybe there's a ditz out there somewhere to take you up on your offer.

I know it is morning somewhere and as I recall from my visit up there last time, morning didn't end until afternoon. As for LR's penchant for swimmers, I must tell you he's always thought of himself as a lady killer. Maybe that's why - with you the lone exception -- they always went out screaming??

Hey SB, have you ever noticed that LR's "location" under his name says "between my ears" and mine says "Virginia"? Funny thing is, in ALL the forums he posts at, none of them say "Virginia." Well, I can't actually say that for a fact. I have no clue where all the forums are located. But it does occur to me that he might not know where he is.

The new page will be very exciting. Trust me on this. I'm working on it. I'll send you a link.

But I told him and I'll tell you and posting this here, I suppose I'm telling the whole world – I may have been born yesterday, but I wasn't born last night – and I know exactly where I am.

So, I figure he may not know where he is, but he does seem to know where he thinks he might be going.
